Sb'eleltiTimaru at 6.20 p.m. on the 18th inst., had a moderate N.W. breeze and fine weather down the coast, entered Otago Heads at 6.30 a.m. yesterday, ; and reached Port Chalmers at Gls a. m. . ~

The B.B.,Taiawera arrived at Port Chalmsrs at 10 aTm.-yesterday. She left Auckland at noon on the ISth list., and arrived at Gisborne at 5 pm. on the 14th inst.; left again at 9 p.m., and reached Napier at it a.m.'on the 15th; sailed at 3 p.m., and arrived at Wellington at 11 a.m. next day; left at i p.m. on the ,17th, and arrived at Lyttelton. at noon on the 18th; left again at i p m., and came Into port as above.'
