MASONIC.

The annual meeting O|f the Zealandia Marine Lodge of Mark Master Masons, No. 2GI, E.C., was hold at the Masonic Hall, Port Chalmers, on Thursday evening, July 27th. There was a large attendance of members and visitors present, including the W.M., and officers of the Hiram Mark Lodge, No. 273, E.C, A board of installed Mark Masters being formed, the E.W. Bro. Charles de Longueville Graham, Deputy Provincial Grand Mark Master for New Zealand South, duly installed the W. Bro. W. Murray as W.M. for the ensuing year, and afterwards invested the • following officebearers :—Bros. J. Eoss, S.W.; W. L. Bu-. chanan, J.W.; C. N. Schumaoker, M.6. ;J. Arnott, P.O. ; J. Gott, J.O. ; Of. W. Gumming, secretary; J. A. D,. Adams, chaplain; J. West, S.D.; A. Purdio, J.D. ;A. Bott, organist ;J. Y6,ung, J.D. ; W. Satchler, tyler. TheW. Bro. W. Murray, W.M.,having returned thanks for the honour conferred upon him, votes of thanks were ordered to be recorded on the minutes to tho W.M. and officers of the Hiram Lodge, the installing master, and the retiring officers, and the Lodge was then closed in due form. The second anniversary of the Lodge was afterwards celebrated by a ball, the hall being very tastefully decorated for the occasion, and there were about 60 persons present, dancing being kept up with great spirit until an early hour on tho following morning.
