The match Australia v. Northumberland resulted in an easy victory for the former, by an innings and 94 runs.
The Home team scored 03 in their first innings and 35 in their second, making- a total of !18, against 193 by the Australians... The bowling of the Australians was very effective. In tho first innings of Nortlium-
berland, Palmer took six wickets for 21 rims, and in the second innings Garretfc took Hvo foi 0 runs.
Tho weather throughout the match was fine,
