The licenses for 10 years of Runs Nos. 3 and 4, Tuapeka district, containing respectively 2190 and 2370 acres, at Cd per acre, were knocked down to Mr M'Donald at £03 and £91. It may be mentioned that Runs Nos. 3 and 4, Tuapekadistrict, had been offered at a previous sale but found no buyers. The wisdom of reducing these runs to a fair price—viz., sixpence per acre—was shown by them yesterday, bringing, in ono instance, about 25 per cent, more than the upset price, and in the other about 35 per cent.
