MINING RESERVE. AT MACRAES. TO THE EDITOR.
Sir—The Protective Committee at Macraes forwarded a complaint to the District Land Officer, Naseby,-against Robert Donaldson, for unlawfully fencing in Crown Lands at Macraes, being the Mining Reserve, contrary;"t6^ the provisions of the statute.,: It. seems by your issue of the 29th that the complaint is referred to the Ranger. We, the Committee, call the Ranger's partieulai attention to the same, hoping that he will make it his business to see the land and Committee, or take such steps as he may think fit for the immediate removal of the said fence, lam, &c, . -.-.....■ W.
