Thomas Howe, Eugene O'Reilly, Thomas Sheehan, James Cummins, James Glccson, and William Walsh, Into Directors of the Green Harp Company, were arrested on a charge of conspiracy, and remanded until Saturday, being admitted to bail in the sum of £200 each. Tho new Directors of the Company will make a call of 5s per ah are. Tliero was a slight improvement in tho share market to-day. Caledonian shares were quoted at £15, Bismarck shares, £2 12s, and Green Harp shares (call paid), 17s (Jd. Very little business, however, was done.

The Provincial Council Beaaion ib over. The Finance Committee brought up a report, which was adopted, recommending that the Provincial Secretary should proceed to Wellington to look after the affairs of the Province.
Grrymouth, July 10th
1220 ounces more of amalgam have been brought down from Mace's claitn, Rcefton, being the result of a fortnight's crushing. The survey of tho Grey and Brunnor lino of railway lias been completed.
Hokitika, July 10th.
The County Council was ojHjned today. The Chairman's speech contains little of interest, referring chiefly to financial matters.
