The following tenders by Mr Brogdeat havo been officially accepted :—Wellington and Hutfc Kdlway, £28,016 ; Invercargill and Mataura Railway, £86,697 ; Aucklandand Waikato Railway, £109,484. Applications to tho extent of about £26,000 have been received under tho Goldfields Water Supply scheme, and others to about a similar extent are expected to be received shortly. Tins is exclusive of the Thames and other works, undertaken by tho Government.
