The Am phi trite, the oldest Tyne collier but one, being 95 years of age, has been ; driven ashore on the South Shields pier, and ! it i.s feared that she will not Moat again. She j waa a good old ship until th«) laat. She was j famous in north country Hong, and had a character of her own. The oldest Tyne collier afloat is the Brotherly Love, of South Shields. She is the old ship on board which Captain Cook, the circumnavigator, served his time. Shu in the property of a gentleman, Mr James Young, who takes great pride in her, and she is in capital condition, and likely to live many years longer.—Liverpool Mercury.
