Arrived.—Rangitoto, s. s., from Melbourne, 4.30 p.m. ■■ 7: June 28th. • Sailed.—Rangitoto, s.s., for the North, The regular Hobart Town trading barque Glencoe returned to our harbour yesterday afternoon, in tow of the p.s. Geelong. She brought up at the port, and will come on to Rattray street jetty, Dunedin, to discharge her cargo of Tasmanian produce. Captain Hopkins, of the barque, reports that he left on the 12th inst., and we thank him for files to that date. Had light N.E. and S.E. weather with variables and calms on the voyage across. Passed south of the Snares on Saturday last, the 22nd, from thence lad light easterly winds and thick weather, accompanied by a heavy S.E. swell on the coasfc, to arrival at 7 p.m. at the Heads en "Thursday, when she came to anchor.

The American ship Alice Ball, for New-, castle, proceeded to sea yesterday morning in tow of the p.s. Geelong, which left her with a light southerly breeze. .The s.s. Phoebe sailed for Oamaru on a special trip lasfc evening. She will return and sail for the North on Tuesday. The ship Sir William Wallace has complefcfd the discharge of her inward cargo from London, commenced to take ballast on board, and is expected to sail for Newcastle early next week. The ship Ironsides, from London, which commenced to put out cargo on Tuesday, has been considerably delayed during the week in her discharge by the late rainy weather. The fine ship Wild Deer has now a third or more of her cargo on board for London. ' The twin-screw steamer Pretty Jane sails on Monday for Port Molyneux.
