Her propeller will be unshipped, and tbe screw aperture (i Jkd up. She will leave under the command of Captain 8. H. Tire barquo will gail immediately on her return voyage for Dunedin, and will forward pas sengers desirous of proceeding thero to Lyttelton.—Hobart Town MercuryThe sailing ship Tantalon Cattlo, Captain Howson, of Messrs Donald Currie and Co.'s Castle line of packets between England and Calcutta, has just arrived at London from Calcutta Sand Heads 'in 78 days. The passage out was made in 80 days, and the wholu voyage has been completed in six months 18 days, including 42 days' detention in the Hooghly, the fastest voyage yet made. Tho Tantallon Castle is now three and a half yoars old, and has just completed her fifth voyage between England and Calcutta. — Times, Nov. 0. The Victory, from New York at this port, reports as follows :—November 15th, passed tho barque Kate Chiprnan, waterlogged and abandoned, with topmast bar, caps, jibboom, nnd redder gone, in lat 43, long 00. November 18th, at 5.30 a.m., took from tho schooner Warrior, of Jersey, from Oporto for Newfoundland, the surviving crew of tho barque Lancaster, from iQue'.cc, for this port, viz., Lawrence Jones, first officer ; James Colter, second officer ; Robert Robinson; carpenter; William Fletcher, steward; John Collins, John Duffin, Michael M'Kcvett, Owen M'Kevett, Henry Lewis, James Harnold, Thomas Nelson, and Patrick Bird, seamen ; making in all 12 persons. Thoy report lestWilliam Tickle, master ; W. Ormond, cook; W. Bowls, seaman ; and Thomas Scales, boy. They report the barque wrecked by the sea in lat 46, long 42.
