Merinos are firm and crossbreds slightly easier. The current prices are: Sixty-fours 167 d,• fifty-sizes 97d fifties 73d, forty-sixes 45d. . Wheat—There is "little business, passing. Small sales of Australian, ex store, have been made at 98s. Flour—There have been small allocations at from 64s to 65s 6d. Oats are firmer. . Peas and beans are steady, with prices unchanged. Business in oats is steady at. recent rates, although-the tone is disposed to be a shade easier. However, there is no quotable difference in price, which is up to os Id for best A grade-at-coun-try stations. Algerians hare been bought at 5s at- distant- stations. The clover market is disposed to be weak consequent, on the sale of Italian cpwgrass recorded in the mid-week report, and prices for both red and white nave dropped. Potatoes are firm at £4 10s at country stations. Digging is later than w;as anticipated, and only a proportion of April deliveries will be made.
