CLiNG TO MONROEISM. (Aas. and N.Z. Cable Assn.i Received September 11. at 5.5 p.m. WASHINGTON. Sept. 10. The majority report of the Foreign Relations Committee adds that India is nor entitled io vote, as she is not a self-governing dominion. If Britain, however, has six votes in the League Assembly, the l'nited States is entitled to an eotia! number. The report states that the League of Nations will really provoke wars. Monroeism has protected the United Slates for manv years, and the United States fought now to protect Monroeism. A Chicago message states that the Republican Senators have begun a counter tour to President Wilson's. Senator Johnston points out that while President Wilson said the Americans were not being sent abroad. Americans had been actually sent to Silesia and others t.ere being slain hr Siberia, despite the fact that Congress had sanctioned no <-ar. The issue between the Senate and the President was whether the United States was to conduct its own wars and be the muster of its own destiny.
