SEDITION CHARGES.
(Per Press Association.) Christehurch, January 8. Mr ($. Hutchison, who is .appearing for Se.mple, Cooke, Fraser, Brindle, and Thorn in the sedition appeals, has advised Mr M'Combs, M.P., that he intends to raise'the question as to tlio competency of Parliament to nass the Conscription Act. The appeals will probably bo taken together on a special date prior to the ordinary criminal sessions.
