Season after season trifles and knickknacks .are shown in the shops, and most of the costly but shorMived trifles of lace and ribbon a girl handy with the needle can easily concoct at home for herself. . As with almost everything connected with chic dressing, it is the idea and style and not the mere fabric that is costly. The shop windows are full of ideas, however. Deft fingers can carry them out just as easily at home as when making the old standbys. "Why not, then, adopt the new ideas ? '
