Air E. N. Butt, an old resident of tho Glenavy district, died' this, mornin.r, after being in indifferent health for some time. The deceased was a superannuated railway employee, and for years occupied the position of bridge-keeper. In earlier life the late Mr Butt followed a seafaring occupation. Possessed of clever mechanical ability.-he constructed several.models-of-failing craft, a number of which lie exhibited in the late Christchureh Exhibition.
