At a meeting of their supporters Arnst was not present, and Mr Floyd; on his behalf, stated that the champion had become suddenly indisposed, and feared a return of h'is recent trouble. It was decided to postpone the signing. He mbdit be able to sign within a week if 7'vervthing turned out all right. Pearce'was greatly disappointed.
