At a-/meeting of ? the Management Committee of tl)e ..Nov Zealand Lawn Tennis Association to-night a letter was received from the Australian Lawn Tennis.Association asking that, a .place be recommended where the Davis Cup is to be played. The .Committee decided to call a special meeting of the Council for June. 27th, at which the New Zealand Association, will be consulted upon the'.-iiiatte'r. The associations in the four centres are being written to for information as to the suitability of each place. The Australian Association asks for a match court and two separate practice for the competing teams to practice on, and enquiries as to the estimated cost of stands to hold 500 persons-and the cost of preparation and rental of the grounds. Mr W. V. Eaves was appointed the New Zealand delegate to the All-England Lawn Tennis Association.
