(Per Press Association.) Wellington, May 15. Weather summary and forecast: — Strong southerly winds prevailed in the south oil Saturday nignt, with colder weather and rain in many parts and sboiv on the higher levels. A high pressure prevails in the south, but the barometer is a little lower, but nominal in the far north. Ram is reported on the east coast of the North Island, and showery conditions in both the far north ind south. The present Indications are for moderate to strong easterly and south-easterly winds generally. Rain is probable on the east coast and the northern parts of the North Island, but fair weathex will probably prevail generally. A high barometric pressure is likely to continue for a short time.
