AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
(Peb Pbess Association*) Auckland, May 9. . It has been definitely decided to hold, an international exhibition in Auckland in 1912. The committee appointed by the Chamber of Commerce has declared' unanimously in favor of the proposal.'Mr B. Kent, who agreed "to accept tile position of president, stated that the Auckland exhibition of 189>S was a splendid success, and though it jvould' bo necessary to obtain guarantors for at least- .£IO,OOO for the forthcoming exhibition, no difficulty .should be anticipated on this score. He added that no doubt the Government would ?reat the promoters liberally as-they did in assisting tiie 1898 exhibition. •
