[By Electric Telegraph—Copyp.igiit.j (Per Press Association.) Received May 5, at 9.20 p.m. London, May 5. Arrived —Muritai, from Bluff. COLLAPSED IN DOCK. London. May 5. The battleship Invincible was docked a: Portsmouth on Tuesday to complete her overhaul. When the full weight of the vessel rested on the wooden blocks her keel frames strengthening her double bottom suddenly buckled and collapsed. The ship's weight bent the frames like a bow, bulging them on either side. When floated she was examined and serious injury was disclosed. Received May 6, at 9.45 a.m. London, May 5. Officials at Portsmouth deny that the Invincible has been badly strained, and tay that she was merely taken from the blocks as a precaution because some of the blocks were badly adjusted. She has been redocked and work is ingCAPTAIN DISRATED. Received May 6, at 9.5 a.m. Melbourne, May G. The captain of the steamer Brisbane hid been granted a first mate's rt-r----tifr'ate. THE YONGALA SEARCH. Relived May 6, at 9.50 a.m. Brisbane. May G. The Covernment has chartered a steamer to continue the search for the Yungala. THE MISSING VALDA. Brisbane, May 5. Ah unsuccessful search has been m:ule for the missing boat Valda.
