NORTHERN BOWLING ASSOCIATION.
(Per Phess Association.V Wellington, March 17. The Council of the Northern Bowling Association' met to-night. It was decided that in future permits to play for more than one club in the same town be issued only by the Council. A statement submitted, showed that, the receipts at last tournament totalled £'3sl. of which £2BB was in entrance fees. After the expenses were paid there was a credit balance of £62. It was decided that an aggregate prize of four guineas' value be pro.vided for the team with the smallest score, against it. Mr J. J. Roberts was elected secretary in succession to Mr G. H. Dickson. A report was presented of the conference of delegates at Auckland respecting the proposed revision of the constitution of the Association. It was resolved to circularise all unaffiliated clubs in the North Island, inviting them to join the Association. The president secretary and vice-pre-sident were appointed a committee to carry put the motion passed a,t Auckland wit lithe idea of bringing about the amalgamation of the Northern and New Zealand Bowling Associations, and <-o securing one governing b,ody for the Dominion. It was reported that the Association has a credit balance at the bank of £169. ' . ;
