J The annual report of tlio "\VeJlington Placing Club shows that the stake money during the year amounted to £*l7,B()S,' an increase of £'l33 over the • previous year. The totalisator receipts amounted to £9771, a falling off : of £l-175. Altogether there was a net decrease of income of £1491.
