Yesterday afternoon tho St. Paul's Hsi mors held their weekly run from the resiifouc-e of Mr R. C. \oting. Thames street. A good number turned up. and. in spite o! the excessive heat, 1 the Clnh had. ;i fairly fast and very enjoyable run. The . trail was laid up Snmpter's Gully, and, reaching the top, was taken down the liill to the Caledonian Ground. The hares then rail along the railway line past tho abattoirs. from whence, passing the raceodurse. they took to the hills again. At the top of tho hill the paper gave out and. leaving the hags on the trail, the hares journeyed I'.oine by the Reservoir road. After-their bath the lads made a combined assault on the good provided by Mrs Yotmjr. and then spent "a very pleasant evening in songs and games. Mr Rodman thanked the hosts for their kindness, and the Club dispersed after . giving three lienr-ty cheers for ill' and Mrs oung.
