(Per Press Association.) : Napier, September 28. At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce a resolution was adopted declining to support Auckland in regard- to the Oceanic Company's proposals. Members recognised the need for a faster service, but considered the disadvantages as to trade restriction outweighed the advantages offered by the American Company.
