Crown Land Transactions. — Another highly interesting return relating to land was secured on Mr Stallworthv's motion. It indicates what are the usual methods of selectors who obtain ordinary Crown lands. More than half of those who obtain sections transfer them. There were IoM selectors in the vear ended March 31st last, and the Crown Land Boards grantedl 160, transfers. The position of Crown tenants in regard to their obligations to the State is succinctly set out in the following table: —
