SOUTH ISLAND MAIN TRUNK.
(Pee Press Association.) Christchurch, August 5. It is anticipated that the demitation which will wait on the Prime Minister oil Monday to urge the vigorous prosecution of the South Island Main Trunk Railway will be about forty strong. This estimate includes the representatives of Blenheim, l'icton, and Kaikoura. Mr J. Marriner, Vice-Presi-dent of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce and ether Canterbury members of the deputation leave for Wel-lington-on Saturday night.
