BATTLESHIP CRUISE PROPOSED.
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] (Pee Press Association.) Received July 15, at 11.30 p.m. London, July 15. Lord Brassey, i ;l a letter "to the Times, urges the Government to fur-' nish the Duke of Corinaught' with an escort of Dreadnought cruisers when he visits South Africa, and his voyage should be extended to Australia'. It was unnecessary to onjai'ge' upon tho political considerations of the voyage. A powerful squadron visiting Australia would mean credit for a navy recently unduly limited aiid experi6nce for the younger officers.
