Lamb—The present prices of Canterbury are 3jsd, other than Canterbury s}d- The beef market is dull and supplies are increasing. New Zealand hinds 3Jd, fores 3Jd. The butter market is steady and the prices are well maintained for best quality. Choicest New Zealand 109s. The cheese market is-steady, with a fair demand for better grades; white, 5/s (3d, colored 555. The wheat market is weak and inactive. New Zealand longberried wheat, pn spot, ox. granary, per quarter of 4961b5, brings 32s 6d; Now Zealand short-berried do 31s 6d. The oats /market, is flat, with scarcely any demand; New Zealand short sparrowbills, ex granary, on spot, per quarter of 3841b, bring 17s Gd; Danish, ox granary, on spot, per quarter of 3201b, 16s 6d.
