The Association's thanks were due to' Messrs M'Conochie, Patterson, and .Mitchell, who visited Waimate at considerable-in-convenience to- assist in making "the gathering successful. The financial operations for the year showed that receipts exceeded payments by £1 0s lOd. The year opened with a credit of £l9 os 6d and closed with £2O 6s 4d on the > right side. Payments totalled £9O 14s 6d, of which amount prizes absorbed £49 lis. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr G. Hunter; vice-president, Mr J. Foley; secretary (pro. tem.) Mr Rattray. A committee of 16 members was appointed. It was decided to accept the offer oi Mr J. Foley's paddock for holding this year's niatch on. A vote of thanks to the outgoing officers closed the meeting.
