OAMARU TROTTING CLUB.

THE JUNE MEETING ABANDONED. As a mark of respect to the memory of the late King, and also owing to the difficulty in securing a suitable day, the Committee of the Oamaru Trotting Club have abandoned the meeting announced to be held on the 9th of June. Trotting Club. (Per Press Association.) "Wellington, May 18. At a meeting to-night it was decided to form a Wellington Trotting Club to operate on the Miramar racecourse. A committee was appointed to make arrangements for registering the Club, and applying for the approval of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Colonel Hume presided at the meeting.
