LONDON PICTURES.
111-luck again attended the London Opcracinescopo Co. last night and the entertainment had to be postponed, on account of the non-arrival of the films. The reason is assigned to the s.s. Mararoa's inability to connect with the South express. Mr M'Donakl.liad the pictures shown on the previous occasion oil hand, but rather than present an old programme he put off the engagement. To prevent any future recurrence of the kind, the management have laid in a supply of 32,000 ft, sufficient for four programmes. This evening's entertainment will be taken from the stock and will be attractive from many standpoints. A further series of the Paris floods will be screened and the White Sea will once more occuny a place on the bill, and will well repay a visit. Dramatic studies are strongly represented in "Tlie Bandit's Daughter" ; while the comic element will be introduced by quite a host. On Saturday,- at 2.30 p.m., there will be a matinee at which each child will recpivs a book.
