Invercargill, s.s., 123 tons, Gillies, for Dunedin. NOTES. The Invercargill, having completed discharging her cargo of timber, sailed last night for Dunedin. The Kotukn arrived at Oamaru at S o'clock this morning from Timaru. She brings with her to discharge 800 tons of coal from Greymoutb, and will sail to-morrow for Dunedin. An accident happened yesterday to the Tiraam Harbor Board's dredge 350, her tumbler-shaft breaking. The dredge will have to go to Dunedin for reP a ' rs - Heavy rain, interfered with the working of cargo at Lyttelton yesterday (says the Press), and several boats stopped work for a time. The Union Company's chartered steamer Ecliunga. which has now been in port for nine days, is still being delayed, and will not get away to Oamaru until tomorrow night or Thursday. WEATHER FORECAST. Eev. D. C. Bates predicted as follows : Moderate to strong easterly winds, probably freshening and squally at times; expect damp and cold weather; rain probable; river high: glass fall; tides good; sea considerable swell on the coast.
