The unrest in Thessaly, which is due to the peasants being practically in a state of serfdom and to the action ol the Military League, culminated in the peasants near Lari.ssa attacking a train. A detachment; ol troops in the train fired a volley, killing live and wounding fifteen. ■Numerous meetings ol armed peasants have been held at Ivardieza and elsewhere.
