Entries for the Stud holme Junction Stock Sale on Friady next are now being booked by Messrs Cuinness and LeCreu and the Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association. Ltd.. Waimate. Mr W. Jardine will continue the sale of Irish lines at his rooms to-morrow, commencing at 1 p.m. Tn connection with the Waihao District races on Thursday next. a. drag will meet the first express from Oamaru to carrypassengers to the course. At 'the Waihao Forks Bale yai'ds tomorrow the Canterbury Farmers' Co-ope-rative Association will offer a number of sheep, mostly ewe hogjets. besides cattle, etc. The Morven Sports Committee have issued an attractive programme for their animal gathering on December 16th, full particulars of which appear in our advertising columns. Arrangements have been made for the trains to slop near the grounds, and every attention will be paid to the requirements of picnic parties. In the evening a gram] ball and supper will be held, tickets for which can be obtained from the secretary. The athletic events will he held under the Xew Zealand Amateur I'liiou rules, with (lie excontinn lh.it competitors nrn not required to register with the S.C.C.A.A. for these pi.-iiic events.
