SALE OF MUNICIPAL LEASES

On Saturday Messrs Fleming and Hedlcy held a sale, of leases of municipal sections, four lots being offered. For section 17, block 93, no offer was received, but the remaining sections sold as under: Section 9, block 16, with 3-roomed wooden cottage, valuation £SO, upset annual rent £2, term 21 years from 6th June, 1902—Air H. Dennison, as agent for Mr H. B. Crawford, at upset. Section 7, block 93, with 3-roomed wooden cottage, valuation £ls, upset annual rent £l, term 21 years from December 6th, 1902—Mr S. Welch, at £1 17s 6d.

Section 1, block 15, vacant, upset annual rent £3 for a term of 21 years, or 20s for annual grazing lease —Mr A. Tiddy, at upset on an annual tenancy.
