PUKEURI v. HILDERTHORPE. The last, but not least in importance, of the series of cricket matches betweeii Pukeuri and Hilderthorpe Cricket Clubs was played at Hilderthorpe on Friday. As Hilderthorpe had won two and Pukeuri one of the three " test" matches, considerable interest was taken in the result of the final. Pukeuri batting first put up 32 for the first wicket, but the remaining nine only produced 20 runs. When Hilderthorpe replied with 31 the Pukeurites became jubilant. As will bo seen from the scores below Pukeuri won by IS runs. A most enjoyable match was concluded with cheers for the ladies who had kindly provided afternoon tea. Pukeuri.—lst Innings. A.
