London, March 25,
Compared with the January sales thi.i series of saks shows good superior greasy merinos five per cent, higher, and all greasy crossbrcds fully ten per cent, higher. Owing to depression on the Continent, short heavy faulty grea»ie3 have fallen five per cent. Best scoured are unchanged. Medium and interior show a slight decline. Tha Americans are still taking all the best wool, bat the demand is slackening owing to the possible delay over the passing of the new American tariff.
