Hospital Trustees.

The monthly meeting of the above Trustees was held last night, there being present—Messrs Mainland (chair), Finch, Headland, and M'Douall. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Dr de Lantour wrote regretting that pressure of work prevented his accepting the appointment of Superintendent of the Hospital. Dr Garland, who had been since written to. wrote accepting the appointment, but intimating that the remuneration was very inadequate when the amount of professional work required was : considered.
