THE LABOR REVOLT.

The Omnibus Companies have issued an ultimatum insisting that the men must resume work at 7s per day for drivers and 5s for conductors till July 13. The communes will then concedo twelve hours a day and the wages will be reduced—drivers to 6s and conductors to 4s 6d. (per united press association.) Received June 13, at 11.30 a.m.] Brisbane. June 13. The Strike Committee is obtaining the opinion of the men as to whether they should declare the strike at an end. A number of unionist shearing camps fav ->r this course. The Strike Committee acknowledge they have been repulsed, but not defeated. The men will probably resume work in a few days. The master printers have resolved to reduce the wages paid to their employees to the rates paid previous to 1888, when they were raised under pressure of the Typographical Society.
