Sanquhar, a son of Darnley, took Ist prize as a four-year-old at the Highland Society's Show at Stirling in 1881. The Macgregor, half brother to Glasgow, and a son of Darnley, was Ist at the Highland Society's Show held at Glasgow In 1882. Louisa, a daughter of Darnley, according to the Glasgow Herald, "has a long roll of honors, and "won the red ticket "at the Society's Show of the same year.
