THE FARMERS' COURSING CLUB
Tne second meeting of tho Oatnaru Farmers' Coursing Olub commenced this morning on the property of the Hon. M. Holmes, at Awamoa. There was a fair attendance, and a start was made about 10 o'clock. There was a good deal of travelling, and few hares were started until about 12 o'clock, when the party came upon the creek, and here most of the runs were obtained. The following are the result up to 2 o'clock : Mr Thomas Farrell's blk and w d Glasgow Collie, Capital Hinemoa beat Mr P. Dooley's f and w d Hock 11., Hock—Barmaid.

Stewart's f d Scawfell, Hock Skiddaw Lass, beat Mr A, Thomson's f b Queen of Scots, Totara—Marie Stuart. Mr James Black's r or f d Kockwood, Totara Kcho, beat Mr A. Dalgleish's w and blk b Belisariuß, Sir Charles—Witch of Erin.
Mr A. Dalgleish's r d Market Day, Hock— Skipping Girl, beat Mr John Cooper's be and w d Young Bedford, Lancashire Lad— Sea Lass.
Mr R. Stewart's brd b Solway Maid, Hock—Skating Girl, beat Mr A. Dalgleish's f d Dead Shot, Totara—Tricolor.
