THIS DAY. [Before T. W. Parker, Esq., R.M.] JOHN THOMSON V. HUGH M'CLAREN. Claim for £4 14s 6d. Defendant acknowledged the debt, but asked for a few days' grace for payment. Plaintiff was satisfied to allow the claim to stand over, and judgment was given for amount, not to take effect for three days. FORD V. SAME. Claim for £9 for work and labor done. In this case also no denial of the debt was made, and the plaintiff allowed a similar time for payment. This concluded the business of the Court
