THE WASTE LANDS COMMISSIONERSHIP.
Referring to the delay in filling up the Commissionership of Crown Lands, the Times says :—" The Government have been pressing Mr. Reid to accept the post, and while negotiations with Mr. Reid have been going on the appointment has been hung up."
