North Otago GREAT FINISH

Before a «, record attendance, which included the Otago selectors, North Otago and South Canterbury fought out an exciting drawn game on Saturday, last,- the \ final scores being 11 all. THE teams were very evenly matched, but, aided by a strong wind and ; the sun m the first half, North Otago ran up 11 points to nil. In 1 the second half the visitors held tilt advantage most of the time; but North Otago did most of the attacking- "" ■ •--.'.. Within a minute, of the end, North Otago were leading 11 to 6, and many of the spectators thought it was all over bar the shouting. . A. Lawson. however, took advantage oi bad tackling to run m under the posts, Strung adding the major points after the bell had gone.
