He seems to dislike his work. • • • .. • » Both General Advance and Cartoon broke down and are not likely, to race again for some months. *• # • Osterman is one of the most promising fencers down this way. He jumped well and was staying on at the finish of his races.-. He should run prominently .-. at Riccarton. . Pink Note left this week for Christchurch. He is looking very well and will be a starter at the Christchurch Hunt Club meeting on Saturday. The Oamaru- trained Heather Lad raced convincingly. lie lpoks m firstclass fettle and gives promise of early success. > "' * , * • ■*.'-. Kipling did not appreciate his outings.
