John Grigg, owner of the Longbeach Stud, has decided to reduce the stud to very small proportions. HPHIS decision has been brought about 1 owing to a recent serious illness of the owner. So during National week Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., will hold a sale of brood mares, yearlings, two-year-olds and three-year-olds fvom Longbeach. In all 22 lots will come under the hammer, and each lot will be dis-. posed of, there being no reserve. The yearlings and the two -year -olds are said to be an exceptionally wellgrown lot.
