Red Wink Breaks Down That one-time fine handicap horse, Red ' Wink, made his reappearance at Washdyke last Saturday. . ' Red Wink i had been, out for some considerable time and his return to the course' was awaited with some interest. ' ;••,•■. •••,; But Red Wink will not race again, for some time, at any rate. Being by no means wound up he was never prominent m his race, but on his return to the 1 birdcage it was seen that he was m a bad way. It transpires that he slipped a hip during the running of the race. ;•■". At the present time Jack Pearson can! do nothing right. He brought Te Kawa and Blue Hall to, Trentham and took them both "home cripples. '. Now he has Red Wink on his hands.
