As he stood facing the Magistrate, as a charge, of receiving the sum. of £300 from E. M. Heyward and failing to account for same to Seafield, Ltd., was read outj Mosley seemed bewildered m his unusual surroundings, but otherwise he displayed no emotion. . "The real theft was £1800," alleged Chief Detective, Gibson . m asking for a week's remand, "but. of that sum he has since paid back £600. In, all £1200 is involved." A remand was granted and bail was allowed. "No; this is not a case for suppression of the name," remarked the Magistrate when application was made by Mosley's counsel.
