JIMMY HILL COMING.
Due This Month.
I had a visit during the week from Jack Kearns (oh, no, not Dempsey's manager, but Jack so well and popularly known on Fuller's circuit). Jack brought : me the news that Jimmy Hill, the erstwhile clever lightweight who fought all the top-notchers m the game, is coming, over to New Zealand this month, being due to leave Sydney for Wellington by the Marama on January 18. Hill, who has been m business m Sydney for the last eighteen months, is coming over mainly with the idea of getting fights. He- has shown m recent work-outs m Sydney that he is still as clever as ever, and having satisfied a critic of the standing of "Solar Plexus" as to his ability/of coming back Hill should not want for a few fights "here. .
