Fairhall Turns Uren Down
The winner of the Fairhall— McCarthy bout at Newcastle was to have met Havilah Uren, but Tommy is not having any. He reckons that Havilah's style is no good to him, and so r. ; refuses to meet the southpaw. All will agree that Havilah is not as graceful and as pleasing as a ballet dancer, but that is very poor reason for Tom to' give him the cold shoulder. Methinks that the hoodoo that? Havilah has over him is more the reason of Tom's refusal than the awkwardness'^complained of.
